Unlu

The Unlu script was originally developed as the written form of “Kallin'Erillian„ but, after a few translations, it became clear that the language and the script were not complementry. Thus, Unlu became a fully fledged writting system without a language. The script itself is inspired by the human hand, with each letter in unlu having a 'thumb' and four 'fingers' which are flexed or bent in various ways to generate unique glyphs.

A project than began to design a spoken language to complement the Unlu script. Firstly the letter options, patterns and subsequent sounds were compiled in order to produce a potential phonetic library on which to draw from. Combined with a simplistic grammar system the language of Unlu was born.
